In
2007, Marguerite Girouard (pictured below) suggested
the proceeds from the NDVATV Halloween Ride be donated
to Childhood Cancer Lifeline of New Hampshire and
the club was honored. $1,840 was raised by the ATV
group and Marguerite was proud to present the check
along with Jack Wheeler to the CCL Fund on behalf
of her ATV club. Marguerite was a passionate advocate
for this strictly volunteer, non-profit organization
that provides support and care for children and families
facing cancer.

Sadly,
Marguerite lost her personal battle with cancer on
March 16, 2008. Marguerite was a long time member
of New Durham Valley ATV club and an ATV enthusiast.
Margeurite's vibrant, caring and giving spirit will
be missed.
In
2008, the NDVATV Halloween Ride raised over $1,500
in memory of Margeurite. Dave Gaudet, Board
Member of the Lifeline,
receives the check.
In
2009, it poured during the Halloween ATV Ride but
they still raised approximately $500. They plan to
do this event again next year.
